The idea for A Beautiful Noise came to the big stage in Boston in 2022. Neil Diamond and his wife attended the opening night performance. The shows developers collaborated with Neil Diamond to bring to life the musical spectacle.

In fall of 2022 the show made its debut on Broadway in Manhattan. It continued on Broadway through mid-2024. When the musical ended its run in NYC, the shows developers announced plans for a USA tour.
